You Call The Shots
1 TURN = 1 THROW
How To Win
Don't be the first to spell B-L-A-D-E.
Player 1 calls their shot (e.g. 3rd board, 2nd ring). If they hit it, all other players must match.
If Player 1 misses, Player 2 calls their shot, keep going until someone hits.
Any player who fails to match a called shot receives a letter of BLADE.
The first person to spell BLADE loses.
Score Exactly 50, You Win
1 TURN = 2 THROWS
First to reach exactly 50 points wins.
Each player throws 2 times per turn, accumulating points from each throw.
On the 2nd throw of each turn, the blue circles are active and worth 10 points each.
Going over 50? Your score rolls back to 40.
With Poison Variant
If your turn lands on exactly 5, 15, 25, 35, or 45, your score is rolled back to the nearest 10. Avoid the poison numbers!
Highest Score Wins
10 TURNS · 1 TURN = 1 THROW
Each player throws 10 turns. Highest total score wins.
If the axe touches two rings at once (line counts), the higher point value is awarded.
Dropped axes are worth 0 points.
On the 10th turn only, players may attempt a Kill Shot, stick the blue circle for a bonus 10 points.
Used For Leagues
This is the standard format used in all Blade & Timber weekly league seasons.
Last Player Standing Wins
Don't spell A-X-E-S. Last one standing wins.
All players take 1 throw per turn.
The player with the lowest score that turn receives a letter of AXES.
Spell AXES and you're out. The last player standing wins.
Hit Every Section 3 Times
First player to hit every section of the target 3 times wins.
Track each section like darts Cricket: / on the 1st hit, X on the 2nd, and ⊗ (closed) on the 3rd.
Works best with teams, each team tracks their hits across all sections.
First team to close out all sections wins.
