Once we work together to confirm your event time, total expected guests and your event’s food and beverage needs, our team will send you a one-time invoice to lock in your event!

That’s it! Our safety-certified axe coaches will ensure you master the bullseye while enjoying a seamless event. Run tournaments, learn tricks, and make memories!

Yes, Axe Throwing is Safe!

We like to have fun, but not at the cost of safety!

Guests ages 10+ are only allowed to throw axes after a one-on-one training session that lasts about 15 minutes with an axe safety-certified coach. Your coach will keep a watchful eye throughout your event to ensure everyone masters the bullseye and stays safe, so you can relax and cut loose.

But what about Axes & Alcohol?

We hear it often…”Axes and alcohol, what could go wrong?” We keep it safe and fun for all guests with our wristband system:

  • Every 21+ guest who desires to drink in our facility will be given a wristband (after we check IDs, of course!)
  • After each drink order, a coach will punch a hole in your wristband to keep track of your drinks.
  • After your third beer, you have a choice…continue with a drink OR throw axes (but not both.) NOTE: Seattle throwers limited to two beers while throwing.
  • If you’d like to keep drinking, you will receive a red wristband and will no longer be allowed to throw axes.

Our drink selection and offerings vary by location – so be sure to talk with us about your options!

We make it easy to throw a party.

As fun-enthusiasts, we believe having fun helps strengthen your most important relationships.

For our Kansas City-based parties, we’ve teamed up with Party City to offer you exclusive decor packages for your next event. View and purchase the party packages here, and Party City will take care of the rest (including delivery!)

Our axe throwing experiences are designed to help you connect with your people in an easy, affordable, safe and stress-free way.

The more, the merrier!

Is Axe Throwing Safe?

Yes! We have taught thousands of guests how to successfully and safely throw an axe for more than 3 years. In fact, we've helped establish industry standards across the nation!

We're committed to making the learning process easy and fun with the help of our Axe Safety-Certified coaches. Every group will receive one-on-one training before you ever pick up an axe.

We've worked hard to increase the accessibility and safety of axe throwing, teaching blind, deaf and differently-abled guests how to nail the bullseye! Email us at hello@bladeandtimber.com if you have any questions.

How do I book?

Bookings are made online.

You must provide credit or debit card information to create your booking, but we will NOT charge your card when you book. After your Blade & Timber axe throwing experience, we will settle up with all participants before you leave - that way you don't have to pre-pay for your friends!

Any questions? Email us: hello@bladeandtimber.com

Can I rent the whole place?

Absolutely! We have a few details on our Group Events page, along with a Group Event Request Form that you can fill out in just a couple minutes.

Pricing varies by location.

Can I bring my own axe?

Our lawyers tell us that we cannot allow you to throw your own axe, unless it was purchased directly from Blade & Timber. One of our coaches must inspect it each time you visit.

Can children participate?

Children 10 and older are allowed to join in! But minors (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Blade & Timber provides a smaller axe size when needed to help you master the bullseye!

If we doubt the capabilities of a minor to safely throw an axe, our coaches will not allow the minor to participate.

Will there be training?

Our certified coaches will always demonstrate proper safety and axe throwing techniques during your first few throws. Coaches are present throughout the experience for questions and to help you master your bullseye.

What are your store hours?

Check our Locations page for each store's regular business hours. We could potentially open by appointment anytime, just email hello@bladeandtimber.com

What should I wear?

You absolutely MUST wear closed-toe shoes. Other than that, we encourage folks to dress comfortably. Also, we love flannel.

Can I bring my own food/drinks?

Each Blade & Timber location is unique.
Some of our locations have kitchens – so we do not allow outside food and beverages.

At locations where we do not yet have a kitchen, you are more than welcome to bring food, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

Chat, email or call us for more information about a location near you.

What are you doing for health & Safety during COVID?

The health and safety of Blade & Timber’s guests and employees continue to be a top priority. We’ve consistently relied on local ordinances along with CDC recommendations to formulate our brand’s COVID safety protocols. Learn more about safety and health practices on our Health & Safety page.
