What People Are Saying

We took a group here on a corporate excursion and everyone had a blast! The atmosphere is laid back and you can go at your own pace, which is nice, but the guys who work there are also available to teach you technique and help you learn. Definitely a fun group activity!

What a blast. Coaches are great, and the axe throwing is something so different, who wouldn’t have a good time. We always felt safe, had a great time, and it was well worth the money.

Super friendly staff that won’t hesitate to help you make the most of your experience. Our first few throws were way off target, an hour later and we felt like pros!

Any questions? Email us: hello@bladeandtimber.com

Is it safe?

Axe throwing is as safe as any other sport or entertainment activity of similar genre. And since safety is our #1 priority, we go above and beyond - by requiring all of our coaches to become Axe Safety certified.

You will always be in good hands while in our facility.

Will there be training?

Our certified coaches will always demonstrate proper safety and axe throwing techniques during your first few throws. Coaches are present throughout the experience for questions and to help you master your bullseye.

Can children participate?

Children 10 and older are allowed to join in! But minors (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If we doubt the capabilities of a minor to safely throw an axe, our coaches will not allow the minor to participate.

Can I bring my own food/drinks?

At our KC | Power & Light location, we do not allow outside food and beverages, since we now have a full kitchen, beer and wine!

Can I rent the whole place?

Absolutely! We have a few details on our Group Events page, along with a Group Event Request Form that you can fill out in just a couple minutes.

Pricing varies by location.

What should I wear?

You absolutely MUST wear closed-toe shoes. Other than that, we encourage folks to dress comfortably. Also, we love flannel.

Can I bring my own axe?

Our lawyers tell us that we cannot let you to throw your own axe, unless it was purchased directly from Blade & Timber. One of our coaches must inspect it each time you visit.

Why not throw darts and play yard games too?
