What People Are Saying About Blade & Timber

Had an excellent time! Came in with a group of 5, it was a great group activity. The instructor gave us a thorough safety demo along with tips and tricks. They also didn’t mind if you asked for more help if need be. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something to do!

This place is so much fun!! We went there for our office Team Builder Activity! The facility is great, the environment is fun, and our coach was helpful and entertaining!

We took our 17 year old son and some of his friends there for his birthday. I must admit that I was weary at first, but was pleasantly surprised once we started throwing. It was absolutely amazing and fun! The staff/coaches were very knowledgeable and helpful! I highly recommend going there!

How do I reserve a lane?

You can reserve lanes online at any time or by way of walk-in during regular business hours.

Walk-ins are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are subject to availability. While we always try to accommodate, walk-in guests may experience long wait times due to pre-reserved, online reservations or private events.

Is Axe Throwing Safe?

Yes! We have taught thousands of guests how to successfully and safely throw an axe for more than 3 years. In fact, we've helped establish industry standards across the nation!

We're committed to making the learning process easy and fun with the help of our Axe Safety-Certified coaches. Every group will receive one-on-one training before you ever pick up an axe.

We've worked hard to increase the accessibility and safety of axe throwing, teaching blind, deaf and differently-abled guests how to nail the bullseye! Email us at hello@bladeandtimber.com if you have any questions.

Will there be training?

Our certified coaches will always demonstrate proper safety and axe throwing techniques during your first few throws. Coaches are present throughout the experience for questions and to help you master your bullseye.

Can children participate?

Children 10 and older are allowed to join in! But minors (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Blade & Timber provides a smaller axe size when needed to help you master the bullseye!

If we doubt the capabilities of a minor to safely throw an axe, our coaches will not allow the minor to participate.

Can I bring my own food/drinks?

You are more than welcome to bring food and snacks. You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol.

Groups who rent the whole facility are permitted to have catered food and drinks. Ask us about our partnerships with some of the local restaurants we love!

What are your store hours?

Check our Locations page for each store's regular business hours. We could potentially open by appointment anytime, just email hello@bladeandtimber.com

What are you doing for health & Safety during COVID?

The health and safety of Blade & Timber’s guests and employees continue to be a top priority. We’ve consistently relied on local ordinances along with CDC recommendations to formulate our brand’s COVID safety protocols. Learn more about safety and health practices on our Health & Safety page.

In Nashville, our axe throwing bar offers a selection of beers, sodas and snacks. We also serve warm, soft pretzel sticks and beer cheese if you come hungry!

Our large bar and outdoor patio area have plenty of room if you’re looking to simply hang out and have a drink in Nashville.

If you want to drink beer while throwing axes, we do limit each guest 21+ to 3 beers during your 1.5-hour experience. Safety first!

Can I rent the place OR HOST AN EVENT?

Absolutely! We offer both full and partial facility rentals with the ability to add on food and beverage options that meet your group's needs. Fill out our Group Event Request Form to learn more.

What should I wear?

You absolutely MUST wear closed-toe shoes. Other than that, we encourage folks to dress comfortably. Also, we love flannel.

Can I bring my own axe?

Our lawyers tell us that we cannot allow you to throw your own axe. Sorry!
