What People Are Saying
My husband and I came to check it out for a random date night and we had a BLAST! There was a bit of friendly competition mixed in with genuinely trying to learn axe-throwing techniques. What a fun place!
Super fun experience. I was really bad at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was really easy. Definitely recommend for group outings! The staff is really friendly, knowledgable and take safety seriously.
So much fun! If you’re looking for a different way to spend your nigh out, this is the spot!

Questions asked frequently
How much will it cost?
Prices vary by location, but this is what you can expect in Seattle:
Private Lane Booking:
$30/person, limited to six people per private lane for a 1.5-hour experience. The state of Washington requires all guests on a lane to be from the same household.
NOTE: On Fridays and Saturdays, we have a 4-person or $120 minimum charge per private lane.
Walk-Ins: (first come, first serve)
Walk-ins are not currently welcome, due to local ordinances. All guests MUST book in advance online.
How do I book?
Bookings are made online.
You must provide credit or debit card information to create your booking, but we will NOT charge your card when you book. After your Blade & Timber axe throwing experience, we will settle up with all participants before you leave - that way you don't have to pre-pay for your friends!

What should I wear?
You absolutely MUST wear closed-toe shoes. Other than that, we encourage folks to dress comfortably. Also, we love flannel.
Is it safe?
Axe throwing is as safe as any other sport or entertainment activity of similar genre. And since safety is our #1 priority, we go above and beyond - by requiring all of our coaches to become Axe Safety certified.
You will always be in good hands while in our facility.
Will there be training?
Our certified coaches will always demonstrate proper safety and axe throwing techniques during your first few throws. Coaches are present throughout the experience for questions and to help you master your bullseye.
Can children participate?
Children 10 and older are allowed to join in! But minors (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Blade & Timber provides a smaller axe size when needed to help you master the bullseye!
If we doubt the capabilities of a minor to safely throw an axe, our coaches will not allow the minor to participate.
Can I bring my own food/drinks?
You are more than welcome to bring food and snacks. You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol.
Groups who rent the whole facility are permitted to have catered food and drinks. Ask us about our partnerships with some of the local restaurants we love!
What are your store hours?
Can I rent the whole place?
Can I bring my own axe?
Our lawyers tell us that we cannot allow you to throw your own axe, unless it was purchased directly from Blade & Timber. One of our coaches must inspect it each time you visit.
