Blade & Timber Seattle

Blade & Timber Seattle offers 18 lanes of axe throwing with the ability to host groups of all sizes. In fact, this is one of the largest axe throwing facilities in the world! We offer a one-of-a-kind, interactive experience for anyone and everyone age 10 and up.

In April 2021 after a two-year process, Blade & Timber became the first axe throwing venue in the state of Washington approved to serve beer. Guests ages 21+ are limited to two beers while throwing axes! Since you can bring your own food into our facility, we encourage eating local.

What People Are Saying

My husband and I came to check it out for a random date night and we had a BLAST! There was a bit of friendly competition mixed in with genuinely trying to learn axe-throwing techniques. What a fun place!

Super fun experience. I was really bad at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was really easy. Definitely recommend for group outings! The staff is really friendly, knowledgable and take safety seriously.

FAQ’s

How much will it cost?

Prices vary by location, but this is what you can expect in Seattle:

Private Lane Booking:
$30/person, limited to six people per private lane for our 90-minute experience. The state of Washington requires all guests on a lane to be from the same household.

NOTE: On Fridays, Saturdays, and select holidays we have a 4-person or $120 minimum charge per private lane.

Walk-Ins: (first come, first serve)
Walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours but are subject to availability. Please call ahead to check availability!

We recommend booking online to guarantee your experience. The good part is that no payment or deposit is necessary to book online!

DO YOU SERVE ALCOHOL?

Yes! In April 2021, Blade & Timber became the first axe throwing venue in the state of Washington approved to serve alcohol.

Blade & Timber Seattle offers a selection of our favorite local beers. Guests ages 21+ are limited to enjoying two beers while throwing axes. You’re more than welcome to stay after you’re done throwing for a few more!

Safety is our top priority for all guests, so coaches may refuse service if they believe a guest cannot safely throw axes.

How do I book?

Bookings are made online.

You must provide credit or debit card information to create your booking, but we will NOT charge your card when you book. After your Blade & Timber axe throwing experience, we will settle up with all participants before you leave - that way you don't have to pre-pay for your friends!

Any questions? Email us: hello@bladeandtimber.com

Is Axe Throwing Safe?

Yes! We have taught thousands of guests how to successfully and safely throw an axe for more than 3 years. In fact, we've helped establish industry standards across the nation!

We're committed to making the learning process easy and fun with the help of our Axe Safety-Certified coaches. Every group will receive one-on-one training before you ever pick up an axe.

We've worked hard to increase the accessibility and safety of axe throwing, teaching blind, deaf and differently-abled guests how to nail the bullseye! Email us at hello@bladeandtimber.com if you have any questions.

Will there be training?

Our certified coaches will always demonstrate proper safety and axe throwing techniques during your first few throws. Coaches are present throughout the experience for questions and to help you master your bullseye.

Can children participate?

Children 10 and older are allowed to join in! But minors (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Blade & Timber provides a smaller axe size when needed to help you master the bullseye!

If we doubt the capabilities of a minor to safely throw an axe, our coaches will not allow the minor to participate.

Can I bring my own food/drinks?

You are more than welcome to bring food and snacks. You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol.

Groups who rent the whole facility are permitted to have catered food and drinks. Ask us about our partnerships with some of the local restaurants we love!

What are your store hours?

Check our Locations page for each store's regular business hours. We could potentially open by appointment anytime, just email hello@bladeandtimber.com

What are you doing for health & Safety during COVID?

The health and safety of Blade & Timber’s guests and employees continue to be a top priority. We’ve consistently relied on local ordinances along with CDC recommendations to formulate our brand’s COVID safety protocols. Learn more about safety and health practices on our Health & Safety page.

What should I wear?

You absolutely MUST wear closed-toe shoes. Other than that, we encourage folks to dress comfortably. Also, we love flannel.

Can I rent the whole place?

Absolutely! We have a few details on our Group Events page, along with a Group Event Request Form that you can fill out in just a couple minutes.

Pricing varies by location.

Can I bring my own axe?

Our lawyers tell us that we cannot allow you to throw your own axe, unless it was purchased directly from Blade & Timber. One of our coaches must inspect it each time you visit.
